Training

Training employees while they are working increases the chance the learning will be fully assimilated. Using CloudVisit, a colleague or supervisor can guide an employee through the process of performing a task and explain the standards for performing that task. Then, the expert can observe the employee while he or she performs the job and provide feedback on how to improve performance.

Assessments

What is the best way to determine if someone can complete a take successfully?  Have them complete the task in a controlled environment where their work can be assessed, and they can receive immediate feedback. CloudVisit supports this approach by allowing an expert to see the work being done. The expert can capture the results, compare it to pre-defined criteria, and enter comments.

Surveys

Surveys are used to gather information for a design or for an estimate of what is involved to complete the task. By using CloudVisit, the information that needs to be collected can be identified in a checklist, these items can be captured in the session recording, and the results can be found by searching for the item and jumping to that location in the playback.

Inspections

A common task for deployment supervisors is to inspect a site and the personnel working on the site to ensure everything is ready for work to begin. CloudVisit gives deployment supervisors and others a way to complete inspections seamlessly and document the results for others to review if necessary.

Supervision

Instead of waiting to see the results at the end of the project, users of CloudVisit can establish times when the crew will connect with an expert throughout the project to ensure timely and quality results. This approach also can be used to check on equipment, include engineering when needed, troubleshooting, and change requests.

Acceptance

Most jobs have a list of acceptance criteria to determine if the work has been completed successfully. CloudVisit users can import a site-specific checklist, capture the results for each checklist item in the session recording, and flag any items that need to be completed or corrected as part of the acceptance process.  Although results may vary, we’ve seen 33% decrease in the number of defects found and 40% improvement in cycle time.  In third-party audits, we’ve seen 62% more audits pass, 90% reduction in audit defects per site, and 67% reduction in return visits.

Handoff

Typically, after work on a site has been completed, someone or a group of people must spend a lot of time preparing the handoff package (historically, this included 100s of pictures) to show the work was done properly. With CloudVisit, the handoff package is the session recording with some additional files uploaded into the session folder eliminating the need for hours and hours of post-processing.

Final approval

Ideally, the group doing the work, the company they are working for, and the customer participates in the same CloudVisit session so everyone is aligned and final approval is expedited. Given this isn’t always feasible, customers can access the CloudVisit recording after the fact to capture their input and indicate if the site is approved or highlight what needs to be done for the site to be approved.
