How It Works

Using CloudVisit Maintenance Software software as a service (SaaS), you can schedule any remote maintenance, repair or inspection. Both experts and on site crew members are invited to join a video conferencing session by email and calendar invites, and find it much easier to use than traditional inspections. A Quality Assurance Manager will connect from a desktop, while members connect from the worksite via any mobile device with a broadband connection, such as an Android or an Apple iOS. Our software integrates project management with video conferencing to maximize efficiency.

You can use the multi-purpose checklist feature and import a spreadsheet as a master checklist as a punch list of what needs to be accomplished to maximize quality control. This feature enables the Quality Assurance Manager to perform a routine inspection of a project site, or alternatively, a spreadsheet can be spontaneously created to address an immediate repair. The multi-purpose spreadsheet assists the Quality Assurance Manager in determining the project’s necessary work scope, as he or she can then quickly read from the punch list of expected work. From his or her desk, the Quality Assurance Manager can direct the on site crew to show him or her the completed on site work, and mark the checklist row with a user-defined quality rating such as: accepted, rejected, or N/A, or corrected.

Once the inspection is completed the quality ratings are tallied to will show the project team the work scope items that were completed correctly, and what maintenance still needs to be approved. The resulting punch list can be shared with team members so that the necessary repairs are made.

You can record the entire session in real time on a cloud-based processing server. The video files are saved in a secure Cloud Storage system and can be accessed for as long into the future as your archive requirements necessitate. While recording, the Quality Assurance Manager can capture the exact time a work scope item appears in the video with a hyperlink, creating a timestamp. The timestamp is then displayed on the checklist. The feature of remote inspection streamlines workflow and speeds up inspection, maintenance and repairs.

CloudVisit Telecom - innovative remote inspection technology

Unlike the current model of inspection which requires a scarce amount of experts to be on site, remote inspection meetings can be stopped at any time, and it does not affect the continuity of the recording. The Quality Assurance Manager can pause the recording if a delay in the inspection is only momentary. On the other hand, if site work is incomplete or the inspection needs to stop completely, the recording can be stopped and saved. Then the same or different inspector can resume the recording at a later date when work has been completed. The subsequent recording is automatically appended to the initial recording. If for some reason the inspection is terminated due to a computer failure, the remote server will automatically save data received up to the time of the crash and archive it in the cloud. Never worry about lost recordings due to hardware failure, as all of the recordings are processed and backed up on the cloud-based server. You can also save annotated screen captures and audio to the cloud, so that your inspection recordings are paperless and archived. This maximizes quality control since you can refer back to these records at any point in time, and utilize the hyperlink function so that all documentation is easily accessible.

Share videos with your clients, team members or contractors by either downloading the video or by sending a direct link to the file within the playback view. When reviewing a direct link to the recording, you can click on the link to the captured time, or timestamp, and the video playback will jump to that exact moment in the video.

When areas of work scope fail to meet specifications, the crew member can take photos or videos of the corrected work from their phone and upload them into the session file folders. The quality assurance manager can then review the uploaded files to ensure that the problem areas have been corrected. After review, the photos or videos can be appended to the end of the recording and a new row can be added to the checklist for each corrected item to maximize quality control and efficient inspection, maintenance and repair.
